Satsuma Dojo is located in Sunnyvale, California and taught by Jay Castellano Kyoshi, 7th Dan Shotokan Karate, 3rd Dan Shorinji Ryu.
Satsuma Dojo teaches traditional karate with an emphasis on etiquette, goal attainment, and personal development which we believe leads us to a way of life: karate-do.
Our dojo is special that we teach two traditional styles of karate simultaneously, Shotokan and Shorinji-ryu. This traditional training is difficult to find.
We are honored to be members of Shotokan Karate-do International—US Federation, Shotokan Karate-do International Federation—USA, and International Renshinkan Federation.
